Vessel Set Up

A)

Swim platform with ladder

B)

Mat to protect deck while pressure washing, handling tools or dive gear.

C)

Open 55-gallon plastic drums filled with fresh water and one cup of bleach. Drum at stern cut about 4 feet high with two bars inside to hold buoy while cleaning. The second drum for lines, floats and other gear that need to be cleaned at the dock.

D)

Cleat for attaching downlines or pick up lines while swinging or to tie downline while changing out the mooring buoy.

E)

Hook and line for attachment to the top splice of the down line. A long line plus rubber-shock-compensator gives enough stretch to keep the buoy aboard and to avoid hard jerks to the down line and pin or manta while cleaning.
