Tortugas 2000 Working Group Meeting

The Working Group's joint task will be to develop boundary alternatives and draft the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS). The Working Group is composed of government agency representatives who have some jurisdictional or resource management responsibilities in the area of interest, as well as user group representatives from the Sanctuary Advisory Council (SAC). The SAC subcommittee will act as a conduit for input from affected users and concerned individuals and organizations.

The next Working Group meeting is scheduled for April 22 - 23, 1999. The location has yet to be determined. At this meeting the Working Group will be discussing proposed boundary alternatives for the Ecological Reserve.
