Luis Marquis

Marine Mechanic

Luis Marquis has been a marine mechanic with Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary since 2003. He is a Yamaha-certified marine technician based out of Key Largo. He maintains and repairs all sanctuary vessels in the Upper Keys and fills in as boat captain when needed. He also assists with vehicle and facilities management. Marquis is originally from Peru and is passionate about the environment and ocean conservation. He enjoys getting out on the water as much as possible.
