If you're interested in using Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary as your laboratory, please take a look at our science needs assessments. These needs assessments outline areas of the most critical research to support sanctuary management. Be sure to carefully review our permitting page as the majority of research proposed within the sanctuary requires an Office of National Marine Sanctuaries permit, and may require permit(s) from other state and federal agencies as well.

If you're interested in volunteering for research projects, take a look at our volunteer opportunities within the sanctuary.
