Chad joined Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary in February 2008 as an Operations Specialist to coordinate vessels and facilities maintenance in Key West. After being stationed in Florida for eight years with the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, his skillset switched from planes to boats upon completion of his marine engineering certification with Sullivan University and shortly after, his love for the ocean was firmly set.
Chad holds a business degree from University of Phoenix, a U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s 100 ton license, and multiple marine manufacturer certifications.
